Elementary school student car consultation room
The automobile industry was featured in social studies textbooks for fifth graders as one of Japan's leading industries, and the number of requests for information to the Customer Consultation Center increased rapidly. Every year since 1993, the company has opened an Elementary school student car consultation room during summer and fall, when students learn about the automobile industry. Various questions about the automobile industry are accepted by telephone, letter and e-mail.
The establishment of a special consultation room for elementary school students is unique to our company in the automobile industry, and many students and teachers use it every year.

Pamphlet for children "Why? Why? Car Manufacturing Research Team"
The first issue was published in 1993. We have distributed pamphlets for children free of charge that cover "car manufacturing" and "the relationship between car manufacturing and society".
Photographs and illustrations provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the process from development to sales, the factory, the mechanics of electric vehicles and environmental and safety initiatives.
All kanji characters are affixed in furigana so that they can be applied for fifth grade social studies "Automobile Industry" and that children of all ages can read them.

Children's website "Why? Why? Car Manufacturing Research Team"

In addition, the website features six main contents, such as free research themes, Q & A collections related to cars, and traffic safety quizzes. It can be used for fifth grade social studies "Automotive Industry."

Trial lesson program
Based on the concept of "having fun learning through real experiences," we have dispatched employees to elementary schools every year since 2005 to conduct classes in the SDGs section, where students learn about the relationship between cars and environmental issues; the Design section, where students learn about the fun of creating products and the work involved in automobiles and the Monozukuri section, where students learn about the manufacturing of cars at factories and the ingenuity of workers. Since fiscal 2020, we have also given remote lessons in which some programs are conducted online.
