In July 2025, Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand Limited (MMNZ), which is the Mitsubishi Motors' sales hub in New Zealand, loaned four “Outlander PHEVs” to NPO Life Flight Trust in cooperation with local dealers. This loan allows Life Flight Trust to use these vehicles at a low cost.
MMNZ has become a principal sponsor of Life Flight Trust. The “Outlander PHEV” will be used for emergency transfers between airport bases and regional hospitals.
