In the field of patents, we are formulating and implementing a filing strategy centered on key technology areas set forth in our medium-term management plan, “Challenge 2025,” in order to maximize the effectiveness of our limited resources.
In the field of design, we have formulated and implemented a filing strategy that actively seeks to protect designs that express the uniqueness of Mitsubishi Motors, including the “DYNAMIC SHIELD” feature of the front exterior and the “HEXAGUARD HORIZON” feature of the rear exterior.Furthermore, for UX and UI elements such as navigation and displays, we seek to protect our rights through a combination of design patents and utility patents as part of an intellectual property mix. By continuously implementing planned rights acquisition, we are strengthening our intellectual capital and contributing to enhanced profitability.
