At its production bases in Japan and overseas, MITSUBISHI MOTORS conducts business with numerous companies, including Tier 2 and subsequent suppliers of materials and parts. As such, we recognize the magnitude of impact our corporate activities have. Therefore, we have identified "achieving a sustainable supply chain" as a material issues. We believe we must act responsibly in consideration of the environment, human rights, and other issues while working together with our business partners.
To achieve sustainable growth throughout the supply chain, we have formulated “Supplier CSR Guidelines” and work together with all our business partners on CSR initiatives from the same point of view. The scope of these activities includes labor practices, environment management, and compliance. In response to one aspect of our CSR that become of particular importance in recent years, the environment, we have formulated “Green Procurement Guidelines” and are promoting initiatives throughout the supply chain.
