Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MMTh), a production and sales company in Thailand, donated solar power system to Pong Hospital in Phayao Province and Chanuman Hospital in Amnat Charoen Province as activity of this year of the environmental project "Solar for Lives".
This program that starts from 2021 to achieve three following purposes below.
- To increase the availability of good healthcare services to Thai people.
- To create sustainable energy sources for hospitals and promote the government's strategic goals in bringing Thailand towards a carbon-neutral society.
- The "Solar for Lives" project is expected to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of participating hospitals.
The objective of the project is to install solar power systems in 40 community hospitals within the next 10 years.
MMTh believes that this project will make positive contribution in both environment and health sectors by promoting solar power generation at hospitals.
MMTh intends to continue to make contribution in our CSR policy of "To contribute and grow with Thai society".
