Tokyo, February 25 2021 - MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION (MMC) announces that the company's Board of Directors' meeting held today resolved nomination of the candidate for Chairman of the Board to be proposed at the Board of Directors meeting to be held after the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (hereafter, the General Meeting) scheduled in June 2021.

2.  Responsibilities of Chairman of the Board
Will chair the Board of Directors' meetings to improve MMC's whole governance by supervising execution of business. Will not serve as an executive officer.
