Mitsubishi Motors has been recognized for its outstanding efforts in addressing climate change issues within its supply chain, and has been selected as a "Supplier Engagement Leader"—the highest rating—in the 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) conducted by the international environmental non-profit organization CDP ※1.
The Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates how effectively companies engage their suppliers on climate change. Companies that receive top appraisals are named in “Supplier Engagement Leader.”

Mitsubishi Motors aims to achieve carbon neutrality across its entire supply chain by 2050. To this end, the company is promoting various initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions, including offering electrified vehicles (electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and hybrid vehicles) tailored to the conditions of each country and region, and adopting low-CO₂ materials and components through collaboration with suppliers. Mitsubishi Motors was also recognized with a leadership-level rating of "A-" in the CDP 2025 Climate Change category.
