On Friday, July 24, Higashi Nihon Mitsubishi Motor Sales Co., Ltd held a dealership training program for 10 students from the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI) at the Meguro car dealership in Tokyo.

SJAHI is an auto mechanic training institute established in 2002 as a joint public-private project of the governments of Japan and Saudi Arabia, Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), and Japanese Automobile Distributors in the Kingdom (JADIK), in response to a request from the government of Saudi Arabia. With the support of Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), 10 highly motivated, outstanding SJAHI students, who are potential candidates for future management positions at Japanese automobile dealers in Saudi Arabia, and one accompanying instructor, were invited to Japan for a two-week training program from July 20 to July 31, 2026. The students visited auto maintenance schools and Japanese car manufacturers with the aim of deepening their understanding of Japanese automotive maintenance technology and the operational mindset in the field.

During our dealership training, through lectures and tours of the dealership, they learned about customer-first service operations at the dealership and the training system for service staff. Dialogue with the mechanics also gave them insights into the attitudes and awareness required in service operations, and they were pleased to have had such a valuable experience.

We will continue to cooperate and dedicate ourselves to nurture the next generation who will be responsible for the future.
