On Friday, July 25, Higashi Nihon Mitsubishi Motor Sales Co., Ltd held a dealership training program for 10 students from the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI) at the Tsudayama car dealership in Kawasaki-shi.

SJAHI is an auto mechanic training institute established in 2002 as a joint public-private project of the governments of Japan and Saudi Arabia, Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), and Japanese Automobile Distributors in the Kingdom (JADIK), in response to a request from the government of Saudi Arabia. With the support of Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), 10 highly motivated, outstanding SJAHI students, who are potential candidates for future management positions at Japanese automobile dealers in Saudi Arabia, and one accompanying instructor, were invited to Japan for a two-week training program from July 20 to August 2, 2025. The students visited auto maintenance schools and Japanese car manufacturers to learn about latest car maintenance technologies for hybrid or electric vehicles, and to observe customer service in Japan.

During our dealership training, through lectures and tours of the service garage and the dealership, they learned about customer's perspective service operations at the dealership , the training system for service staff and mechanisms of plug-in hybrid EV (PHEV). The students were pleased that they had gained valuable experience by learning how to be aware and conscious of service work through dialogue with the mechanics.
We will continue to cooperate and dedicate ourselves to nurture the next generation who will be responsible for the future.
