In August, 2024, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), the manufacturing and distribution subsidiary of MMC in the Philippines, in cooperation with the ABS-CBN Foundation, has launched an initiative to reuse hazardous waste oil and solvents. MMPC donates reusable hazardous waste to industrial waste companies affiliated with the ABS-CBN Foundation, which processes them into reusable wastes and the profits from the sale of these processed wastes are utilized by the ABS-CBN Foundation.
ABS-CBN Foundation serves to protect the lives of Filipinos, including child's rights, education, the environment and disaster relief.
In terms of the environmental, the company promotes the appropriate transport, collection, treatment and disposal of hazardous waste in cooperation with business operators.
MMPC will continue to engage in environmental conservation activities with the aim of creating a sustainable society.
