In February 2023, Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd. (MMAL), the Mitsubishi Motors' sales hub in Australia, provided a total of 6 units of vehicles to charity cycling event "Ride for Relief" in Victoria. The event aims to promote mental health awareness.
Over A$230,000 raised through the event was donated to Mentis Assist, a nonprofit organization which provides expert mental health support to those with mental illness. The fund will be used for purposes such as providing those living with mental illness to access treatments, re-engage in the community and re-build their lives.
MMAL hopes that this activity will assist as many people suffering from mental illness to lead healthy and meaningful lives.
