In March 2022, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd. (MMV), which is the Mitsubishi Motors' production and sales company in Vietnam, donated water purifiers to primary schools in rural Ninh Thuan and Quang Nam Provinces in collaboration with local dealers and Vietnam Red Cross Society.
Accessing to clean water and sanitation remains a major challenge in rural Vietnam and many children in rural Vietnam are still at risk of water and sanitation-related diseases.
This donation of water purifiers will enable those primary school children to access clean water easily and will enhance hygiene and education quality of the primary schools. It is also expected that this will lead to realization of "Clean Water and Sanitation", one of 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
MMV intends to continue to conduct activities which will help enhance quality of life of local communities and contribute to realization of the sustainable society.
