In October 2021, MMC's US subsidiary Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) partnered with veteran's nonprofit Record the Journey to complete in the eight-day, 2500-km, all-women, off-road 2021 Rebelle Rally※ in the all-new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander.
The partners made history for the third year in a row, entering the competition with an all-veteran team and a PTSD-trained service dog named Sammy. By partnering with Record the Journey, MMNA hopes to raise awareness for PTSD and the importance of helping Veterans successfully transition to civilian life following their service.
※2021 Rebelle Rally…All-women, off-road rally, in which a driver a navigator team locate designated check points, using only hard-copy maps and compasses. No electronic devices are permitted. The Rally covers more than 2,000 km of off-road terrain, over a period of 10 days.
