Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Provides Support for the Victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico

Tokyo, November 13, 2017 – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Caribbean, Inc. (MMSC) and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has kept the people of Puerto Rico closely in our thoughts following the impact of Hurricane Maria, and aims to continue helping the island community recovery as quickly as possible.
MMSC and MMC have confirmed a donation USD 75 thousand to assist affected families and individuals across Puerto Rico. From the total amount, individual donations will be made to the American Red Cross as well as local organizations such as Hogar Forjadores de Esperanza that help provide homes for displaced children and Toa Baja Community.
In addition to this contribution, Mitsubishi Motors and MMSC will continue to closely track the ongoing recovery efforts in Puerto Rico, and explore additional area for potential support over the coming year.
