Asia Cross Country Rally, commonly known as AXCR or Asian rally, is FIA certified cross-country rally and
has been held in August since 1996. The rally takes place in Thailand and other Southeast Asia countries.

Team MITSUBISHI RALLIART participated for the first time in 2022 and achieved overall 1st place.
In 2023, the team run with the new TRITON and received overall 3rd place and the Team Award,
followed by another overall victory in 2025.

The challenge continues at AXCR 2026.

*Due to the influence of COVID-19,AXCR 2020 and 2021 were canceled, and AXCR 2022 were held in November.

competes in AXCR?

MITSUBISHI MORTORS has competed in both the World Rally Championship and the Dakar Rally for many years and has long been the top contender in the motorsports world.
After achieving outstanding results through these events, MITSUBISHI put its efforts into creating vehicles that could overcome any type of weather or road condition.
We will continue to provide technical data obtained through such rallies to enhance vehicle development, and further refine MITSUBISHI MOTORS' strengths,
such as a robust body and chassis, handling characteristics, stability, and drivability over rough roads.

Thanks to huge encouragement from all supporter, the team won the AXCR 2022.
We will continue to pursue its passion for car manufacturing, by participating in motorsports activities and providing technical support to Team MITSUBISHI RALLIART.

CHALLENGES

AXCR2026

The 31st AXCR takes place across Thailand.
Covering approximately 2,000 km over 6 days,
the rally is set to be as demanding as ever.

Total distance : Approximately 2,000km

Start : Pattaya/Thailand

Goal : Phitsanulok/Thailand

AXCR2025

The 30th AXCR will be held across Thailand. While this year’s rally was expected to be especially grueling—covering approximately 3,200 km over 9 days with a longer competition period and extended distance compared to previous years—the team overcame it to secure their second overall victory, their first in three years.

Goal : Pattaya/Thailand

AXCR2024

A fast-paced course in Thailand demanded not only driving performance and durability, but also speed.
Team MITSUBISHI RALLIART secured overall 5th place.

Period : Aug.11.2024 ~ Aug.17.2024

Total distance : Approximately 2,100km

Start : Surat Thani/Thailand

Goal : Kanchanaburi/Thailand

AXCR2023

A tough course with various conditions, such as mountainous areas, dense forests, muddy roads, requires high driving performance and durability.
Team MITSUBISHI RALLIART achieved over all 3rd place and Team Award.

Start : Pattaya/Thailand

Goal : Pakse/Laos

AXCR2022

A course with high-speed stages on rough dry dirt roads, and large puddles dotted on muddy surface caused by heavy rain.
Team MITSUBISHI RALLIART achieved over all 1st place.

Period : Nov.21.2022 ~ Nov.26.2022

Total distance : Approximately 1,700 Km

Start : Buriram/Thailand

Goal : Siem Reap/Cambodia
