MMM loans 3 vehicles, funds personal protective equipment and other essential items to fight COVID-19 [Malaysia]

On August 12, 2021, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (MMM), MMC's distributor in Malaysia, loaned one Triton pickup truck ,two Outlander SUVs as well as donated 20,000 MYR (approximately 520,000 yen*) to Mercy Malaysia, an NGO which gives support to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

These vehicles will be used for commuting and transporting employees to vaccination centers. The fund will be allocated to purchase 400 sets of personal protective equipment to prevent infection, which will be used at COVID-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) where infected people are monitored and cared for.

 

MMM also donated other items needed at CAC in Hulu Langat, such as tents, tables, chairs and portable air conditioners worth 43,000 MYR (approximately 1.11 million yen*).

 

Due to the expansion of COVID-19 pandemic, MMM continues to collaborate closely with NGOs and public institutions for further support.
