To use the MITSUBISHI Remote Control App, register your wireless LAN device and your vehicle .
Your vehicle and wireless LAN device communicate directly. You do not have to access a public wireless LAN spot or prepare any wireless LAN routers at your home.
The registration information card is attached to Keyless Operation Key.
If you have a piece of paper with the wireless LAN password that was reissued by Authorized Mitsubishi dealership, please see it.

【Note】Please keep the registration information card in a safe place by yourself.
Perform this operation while the driver's side door is closed.
Turn the power switch to ACC, then within 10 seconds, press the LOCK and UNLOCK on the key fob alternately 10 times in total.
A meter buzzer sounds according to the number of the registered wireless LAN devices.
Registration mode ends 5 minutes after the buzzer sounds. (Up to 2 devices can be registered.)
On your wireless LAN device, go to Settings and select 'Wi-Fi'. SSID 'REMOTExxxxxx' is displayed.
It may take a few minutes before the SSID is displayed.
Connect wireless LAN device to your vehicle.
When you search the network with your wireless device, you can find SSID 'REMOTExxxx'. Then, you can enter your password.
(SSID and password are described in the registration information card.)
Select SSID, and enter your password. Then, press OK button. The registration starts automatically.
It may take about 1 minute before the registration is completed.
Turn off the power switch of your vehicle to complete the registration.
To register a 2nd device, exit the app or terminate the wireless LAN connection between the vehicle and 1st device.
Then, perform the same registration procedure for the next wireless LAN device.
For iOS10 or later versions and some Android devices, a message "No Internet Connection" is shown on the
Wi-Fi setting screen of OS, which will not affect the wireless LAN communication with your vehicle and there is no problem.
You can initialize the registration information of your wireless LAN device registered with the vehicle.
When vehicle registration initialization is performed, registration information of all wireless LAN devices registered with the vehicle is deleted and reset to the factory.
When the registration information of all wireless LAN devices registered with the vehicle is deleted, the following settings are initialized.
If you wish to unregister the wireless LAN device registered with the vehicle, cancel the registration from
"Settings" - "Cancel VIN Registration" on the MITSUBISHI Remote Control App.
Turn on the hazard lamps.
Perform this operation while the driver's side door is closed.
Turn the power switch to ACC, then within 10 seconds, press the LOCK and UNLOCK on the key fob alternately 10 times in total.
A meter buzzer sounds according to the number of the registered wireless LAN devices.
Registration deletion mode ends 5 minutes after the buzzer sounds.
Enter registration deletion mode, then within 5 minutes, press the LOCK and UNLOCK on the key fob alternately 20 times in total.
A buzzer sounds when registration information is deleted completely (1 beep).
Registration deletion mode ends by turning off the hazard lamps and turning the power switch to OFF.
If you wish to continue to use the MITSUBISHI Remote Control App after the registration information is deleted from the vehicle, it is necessary to conduct "Settings" > "Cancel VIN Registration" on the MITSUBISHI Remote Control App, and you need to register your wireless device with your vehicle again.
Please follow the given steps of Registration Initialization to perform the vehicle side registration initialization.
Uninstall the App.
Reinstall the App.
Open the application store.
On certain Android devices, wireless LAN communication with vehicle might be disconnected automatically, depending upon the model and OS version.
Hence change the setting as shown below. Depending on the model, operating method and display items may be different. For more information, please check the user manual of wireless LAN device or contact the device manufacturer.
Please follow the given steps of "Before you begin" to register again.
Please tap "Precise" and "While using the app" when location access permission pop-up appears.
On certain Android devices, you may not be able to communicate with the vehicle even after STEP 3. In such a case, please set Mobile communication to 'OFF' as per the following procedures, set 'Wi-Fi only' to 'ON' and register again.
If you are able to register using these steps, please temporarily turn OFF the mobile communication through these steps when you use the Mitsubishi Remote Control from now on. (Please note that countermeasures cannot be implemented on the app as this depends on the Android OS specification.)
Please re-confirm STEP1 to 4. If you are still not able to register, please consult the nearest Authorized Mitsubishi Distributor.
On certain Android devices, you may be able to solve this by changing additional wireless LAN settings.
You may be able to solve this by changing the mobile communication settings in STEP 3 and 4 again.
If the vehicle SSID is not displayed on "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" when the vehicle power switch is OFF, the vehicle may have stopped wireless LAN communication temporarily and activated the function to prevent an auxiliary battery from being dead. You can resume wireless LAN communication by following the steps below.
If wireless LAN communication does not resume even after confirming the above, register again after performing STEP1 to 4. If this does not resolve the issue, please consult the nearest Authorized Mitsubishi Distributor.
