The technologies development concept we have investigated in order to provide "Driving Pleasure" and "Toughness & Safety" is all-wheel control (AWC).
AWC is the development concept we have cultivated through our involvement in the Dakar rally (commonly known as the Paris-Dakar rally), the WRC rally, etc. We have focused on the development of four-wheel motion control technologies that realize "predictable handling and high margin of performance" by maximizing the tire capacity of the four wheels in a balanced way using the various technologies based on 4WD technologies that we have cultivated over many years.
The "Predictable handling" offered by AWC refers to the Superior Response, linearity, and controllability, and the "High margin of performance" refers to the traction performance, cornering performance, and braking performance. To achieve that performance, we have developed and applied technologies based on three types of approach: "four-wheel vertical load control, " "four-wheel driving/braking force distribution control, " and "four-wheel slip control."

Highly-rigid body, aluminum roof panel, aluminum engine hood, large-diameter tires, wide tread, four-wheel independent suspension, optimization of the front and rear weight distribution
