Only drivers registered for the Production Car World Rally Championship are eligible to score points and other Group N drivers cannot detract points from a registered driver. Each registered driver must enter six of the eight qualifying rounds of the Championship and before the start of the season, each driver must nominate the events on which they will be eligible for points. Points are awarded to the top 8 drivers - 1st=10 pts; 2nd=8 pts; 3rd=6 pts; 4th=5 pts; 5th=4 pts; 6th=3 pts; 7th=2 pts; 8th=1 pt. Where drivers have the same number of total points, quality of position takes precedence.
