Fuso Hub Issue - Our sincere apologies and pledge

With respect to the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus recall and its related issues, I would like to offer our sincerest apologies to all of you, especially our customers. I am sure that you were worried and concerned by the recent recall campaigns, for which I am deeply sorry.

While Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation has been an independent company since the January 2003 spin-off, it was our truck and bus division when the wheel detachment accident occurred.

In particular, we wish to apologize to the victim of the accident and her bereaved family who have our deepest sympathy and condolences. The accident is still under investigation, and both Mitsubishi Fuso and Mitsubishi Motors will continue to cooperate fully with the authorities.

Mitsubishi Motors has implemented fundamental quality reforms in its passenger car business over the years, and we are always striving to deliver the highest possible level of safety and quality to our customers.

As a socially responsible automotive manufacturer, I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our pledge to make safety and quality the top priorities and to regaining the confidence of our customers.
